A simply magnificent and utterly unique Jewel set in solid 18k white gold and featuring a stunning completely unheated and untreated Ruby from Mogok in Burma weighing an impressive 3.11ct. The beautifully made ring contains an array of clean and white brilliant cut diamonds of exceptional quality totalling 1.32ct. (They look rather grey or dull in some pics but they are absolutely not: they are white and super clean VS). The star of the show is certainly however the unheated Ruby which is of a gorgeous hue of pinkish red. Clarity wise the stone is not quite eye clean, and internally the gem is inevitably included at this price range, but overall clarity grade is extremely good for the specific genre : an unheated 3ct Burma ruby. There is a tiny triangular ‘nick’ or ‘pit’ on the surface of the gem, which will be visible to the extremely eagle eyed. Transparency is extremely good - this is not a translucent gem but a lively gem with great fire. Cutting is excellent and the oval shape has been beautifully presented by the gem cutter with no windowing. The stone is absolutely fully certificated by GRS as attached and is absolutely beautiful. The ruby is exceptionally repeat exceptionally bright and vibrant and genuinely is a stunning and bright immense pinkish red gem, and of course without any treatment whatsoever. Exceptionally vivid, lively and simply alive, the ruby positively glows, just as fluorescent Mogok ruby should - a stunning product of nature. Google what 3ct++ Burma unheated rubies fetch these days in the international auction houses - you will be amazed - and you will see the extraordinary value in this ring for the superb quality. Oh, and that's if you can find one currently for sale, so incredibly rare are they, I am absolutely sure that whoever is lucky enough to win this stunning ring will be buying a blue chip and long term investment of exceptional quality. Prices of Burma rubies are escalating fast as the civil war has closed the mines, with little chance of any gems coming out of the country for the next few years. We *will* take a reasonable offer on the ring but please note that unrealistic ones will be automatically rejected. Size 6.5 approx. Needless to say the ring makes a *sensational* statement when worn and is absolutely CERTAIN to appreciate in value as time goes by. Shipping Fedex fully insured
